Here are the winners of our 2007 Podcast Competition! Kenton Bartlett won a $5,000 scholarship with his video podcast, and Nicole DeMagistris won a Sony camcorder with her audio podcast. Congratulations, Kenton and Nicole!
Off to College — Kenton Bartlett
Kenton's video podcast is about the journey from high school to college, and the anxiety that goes along with that journey. Though you'll become homesick and want to return before that Thanksgiving break, Kenton advises against it—staying at school is the only way you'll really get used to it and enjoy it.
Finding the Right College — Nicole DeMagistris
This audio podcast is all about finding the right school for you, by making sure that you're comfortable on campus, checking out the local community, and evaluating housing and dining options. Nicole also has great tips on visiting a campus, such as reading the student newspaper to see what campus life is really like.
